one-and-the-same

Turned inward, the mind (Ātman) can eventually see its own source and once again remember it IS the Universal Self. (Brahman)
At that point, one realizes Ātman is Brahman and Brahman is Ātman. There is no separation or ‘difference.’
This is the state in which our identification with thoughts or ideas has definitively ended.
The mind is no longer the subject perceiving an object. The perceiver and the object are one-and-the-same.
The gap is closed. Suffering dissipates.
Expectation and reality become one.
